Egyptian State Minister for Military Production Mohamed Salaheldin Moustafa said that the new budget will focus on enhancing military industrialization and contributing to national projects.
The minister also directed to develop production lines at companies, invest in human resources, raise performance levels, achieve the highest levels of quality and administrative reform, and preserve assets and resources.
This came during meetings of the general assemblies to present the proposed general budget for companies and units affiliated to the Military Production Ministry for the fiscal year (2023-2024) at the headquarters of the ministry’s training sector, said Spokesman for the Military Production Minister Mohamed Eid Bakr.
The minister further noted that these meetings aimed at discussing the future plans set for each company and affiliated unit and ways to achieve them, in line with President Abdel Fattah El Sisi’s directives to expand the volume of public investments.
The proposed budget for the next fiscal year aims at increasing the contribution and participation in the implementing the development and national projects in various sectors, a matter that contributes to raising the efficiency of the level of services provided to citizens through the different sectors of the State, the minister said.
