The political leadership attaches due importance to empowering Egyptian women in all fields, in addition to providing them with all necessary support, in appreciation of their status in the society.
This is in line with celebrations marking the international Women’s Day, which falls on March 8 each year.
Since the launch of the presidential ‘Decent Life’ initiative, women have been at the top of the initiative priorities.
The Foundation launched the “Ibda Hayat” (Start Life) initiative in Gharbia and Fayyoum governorates, in co-operation with ‘IBDAA’ initiative.
The step is aimed to train female breadwinners the craft of sewing and tailoring, to enable them to earn living for their families.
The Foundation also launched the ‘Joy Lasts’ initiative to rehabilitate and train girls who are about to get married, and to organise awareness programmes for them on mental health, marital relations and how to manage home affairs.
The Decent Life also participated in Turathna (Our Heritage) exhibition, which displayed the products of craftswomen in the villages of the Decent Life initiative.
