Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El Sisi voiced appreciation to Cyprus’ Outgoing President Nicos Anastasiades for his efforts to promote joint strategic relations.
During the reign of Anastasiades, great achievements were realized at the level of bilateral ties and the Egypt-Cyprus-Greece cooperation, Sisi said
The president made the remarks on Saturday during a phone call with Anastasiades, wishing him all the best.
Presidential Spokesman Ahmed Fahmi said Anastasiades thanked Sisi for this nice gesture and lauded Sisi’s major contribution to promoting fruitful cooperation between the two countries over the past years.
Anastasiades stressed Cyprus’ commitment to enhancing the strategic partnership between the two countries under the leadership of elected president Nikos Christodoulides.
