DUBAI – Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El Sisi has expressed Egypt’s keenness on continued contacts with investors to identify the problems they face and solve them.

During his participation in the Billionaire Round table on the sidelines of the World Government Summit (WGS) 2023, currently taking place here, the president stressed the importance of the role of the private sector especially the startups and entrepreneurs, describing the private sector as the locomotive of sustainable development in terms in investment and advanced technology transfer.

The event is attended by representatives of billionaire startups, and technology and e-trade companies.

Presidential Spokesman Ahmed Fahmi said the meeting witnessed an open dialogue with the representatives of the companies who expressed interest in working in Egypt or expanding their existing companies’ operations.

The spokesman said the president reviewed the state efforts to lure more investments and encourage businessmen to work in Egypt.

The president discussed with the representatives of the companies their future plans in Egypt in light of the economic reform program, the presence of skilled human cadres and strong infrastructure besides the huge energy markets the country enjoys.
