Egypt PM lauds continued progress in relations with Jordan

CAIRO – Egypt’s Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli lauded continued progress in relations with Jordan and coordination towards different regional and international issues.

Madbouli underlined the importance of expanding spheres of cooperation with Jordan in a way that better serves the interests of two countries.

Madbouli made the remarks during a meeting with Jordanian Parliament Speaker Ahmed Safadi in the presence of Jordanian Ambassador to Egypt Amjad Al-Adaylah.

He expressed thanks for the great care attached by the Jordanian government to Egyptians working in the kingdom.

He underlined the important role played by parliamentary councils of the two countries in boosting bilateral relations.

The Jordanian official lauded deeply-rooted relations binding Egypt with Jordan, saying parliamentary diplomacy is one of the tools of enhancing cooperation between the two countries.

He said the Jordanian parliament highly appreciates the pivotal role played by the Egyptian community in different economic and development domains in the kingdom.

He underlined the importance of activating mechanisms of tripartite partnership among Egypt, Jordan and Iraq and benefiting from the huge potentials the three countries possess to achieve self sufficiency.
