The Egyptian cabinet’s Information and Decision Support Centre (IDSC) published Wednesday an infographic about the industry of electronics in Egypt.
It said Egypt will become a regional hub for manufacturing electronics.
Three global companies started to produce mobile phones in the country at total investments of two billion Egyptian pounds and an annual production capacity of 20 million phones, the center said.
The center added a factory for OPPO company was established in Egypt at a cost of 20 million dollars and with a yearly production capacity of 4.5 million units annually.
