Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El Sisi has expressed Egypt’s readiness to send assistance to Turkey and Syria to face the repercussions of the massive earthquake that hit parts of the Middle East Monday morning.
In a press conference with president Zoran Milanović of Criatia, president Sisi sent condolences to the peoples of the two countries and the families of the quake victims.
More than 1,500 people have died and rescuers are racing to pull survivors from beneath the rubble after a devastating earthquake ripped through Turkey and Syria, leaving destruction and debris on each side of the border.
