State Minister for Military Production Mohamed Salaheldin Moustafa discussed with Iraqi Defense Ministry’s Secretary General Jabbar Thjaiel al Haidari means to boost joint co-operation.
During his meeting with a senior delegation of Iraqi Defense Ministry and Iraqi cabinet, Moustafa asserted the depth and strength of the Egyptian-Iraqi ties.
He said that they discussed the possibility to co-operate in the field supplying the demands of the Iraqi side of the military products, pointing out to the mutual desire to establish a fruitful industrial partnership in several domains.
He pointed out to a series of meetings and coordination between the Egyptian and Iraqi officials that come in light of mutual understanding to push the Egyptian-Iraqi ties forward in the different fields and the importance of boosting the partnership strategy the benefits both sides.
Moustafa asserted the keenness of the ministry to direct the industrial, technological and technical potentials available in the affiliating bodies to meet the needs of the Iraqi side according to the latest manufacturing technologies.
Moustafa invited the Iraqi companies to attend EDEX exhibition due by the end of 2023.
Meanwhile, Haidari asserted that he is looking forward to boost co-operation with the Egyptian Ministry of Military Production in the different fields of manufacturing, lauding the manufacturing and technical potentials in the companies of military production and their role in providing the demands of the Egyptian Armed Forces and supporting the Egyptian plan of sustainable development and improvements via participating in the implementation of different developmental and national projects.
He added that the representatives of the Iraqi Defense Ministry detected major development in the military manufacturing potentials in the companies of the Egyptian military production.
Haidari lauded the Egyptian efforts supporting Iraq at all levels and Egypt’s pioneering and effective role in the region especially in relation to facing joint challenges, topped by combating terror and achieving security, stability and development.
