Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi issued a decision on Thursday promoting three army commanders to the rank of Lieutenant General, said Presidential Spokesman Bassam Radi.
The three commanders are Major General Ahmed Fathi Khalifa, head of the Armed Forces Operations Authority, Major General Ahmed el Shazli, head of the Financial Affairs Authority of the Armed Forces and Major General Ashraf Salem Zaher, director of the Military Academy.
