A diplomatic delegation from the EU on Wednesday visited Al Aqsa Mosque in occupied al Quds.
Representatives and consuls from the EU and other countries visited Al Aqsa Mosque to confirm the EU Union’s position on the need to preserve the existing legal and historical status of the mosque.
The European delegation aims through its visit to stress the importance of respecting the Jordanian custodianship over Islamic endowments and sanctities in al Quds and the need to avoid any actions that would escalate the situation in al Quds and the rest of the Palestinian territories.
