Egyptian Agriculture and Land Reclamation Minister El-Sayed el-Quseir has met with a delegation representing one of the Dutch companies operating in vegetable seed production in Egypt.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed ways of boosting co-operation between the ministry, represented by the National Programme for Vegetable Seed Production, and the company to produce a new adapted pepper plant hybrid along with beans and eggplant.
The two sides, meanwhile, underlined the importance of exchanging expertise in this sphere and benefiting from the Dutch experience in extracting vegetable seeds.
President Abdel Fattah El Sisi pays great importance to this file, said the minister, noting that the National Programme for Vegetable Seed Production made great strides in this sphere.
