Egypt’s Awqaf Minister Mohamed Mokhtar Gomaa will participate in the third Forum of the African Conference for Peace in Mauritania from January 17 to 19.
This falls within the framework of the Egyptian State’s keenness on cooperating with all African countries, particularly in the field of spreading moderate Islam, correcting misconceptions about the upright teachings of Islam and working to establish peace in various countries of the continent.
The conference is being held under the auspices of the Mauritanian president, the leaders of the Mauritanian State and a number of ministers of Islamic affairs in Africa in general and West Africa in particular.
