The Health and Population Ministry In Egypt announced providing free medical services to as many as 735,865 citizens during 2022.
The move came in line with the healthcare program for the underprivileged citizens in coordination with all the sectors and organizations affiliated with the Health Ministry.
The healthcare program for the underprivileged citizens is considered a health insurance umbrella to provide medical services to the beneficiaries of the pensions of the social protection program and their families and the beneficiaries of Takaful and Karama, in cooperation with the Social Solidarity Ministry, said Health Ministry Spokesman Hossam Abdel Ghaffar.
