BRUSSELS – Belgium’s Minister of the Interior, Institutional Reforms, and Democratic Renewal Annelies Verlinden hailed Egypt’s leading role in combating terrorism and illegal migration.
This came during her meeting with Egyptian Ambassador in Brussels Badr Abdel Aty in which they stressed their countries’ keenness on fostering cooperation in various fields including security and combating terrorism within the recent distinguished relations between the two countries especially after President Abdel Fattah El Sisi’s visit to Brussels in February 2022 where he met with Belgium’s king and the prime minister.
