Egypt is assiduous in its implementation of its National Artificial Intelligence (AI) Strategy in co-operation with international partners.
This statement by Minister of Communication and Information Technology Amr Talaat came during the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) Ministerial Conference in the Spanish Canary Islands on digital economy.
Twenty countries are being represented at the conference.
Egypt is working with the OECD, UNESCO, and Arab and African partners to formulate regional AI policies, the minister said.
The minister referred to the projects by the Innovation Centre in advanced communications as solutions to the healthcare and agricultural challenges facing Egyptian society.
