EgyptAir announced that within the framework of the Ministry of Civil Aviation’s plan to activate air traffic and tourism coming to Egypt from various countries of the world and in support of the Russian tourist movement to Egyptian resorts, the company is coordinating with tourism agents during the current period to increase direct flights between Moscow and Sharm el-Sheikh and Hurghada to reach 28 flights, starting from the beginning of next year 2023

Currently, 7 direct flights are operating per week between Moscow and Egyptian tourist destinations, including 4 flights per week between Moscow and Sharm el-Sheikh, and 3 flights to Hurghada.

It was also decided, as of December 18, to increase direct flights between Cairo and the Russian capital of Moscow, to 14 flights per week, at a rate of two flights per day, as EgyptAir currently operates 11 flights per week with the company’s Boeing 737/800 aircraft.

This comes in accordance with the plan of the national company, EgyptAir, which aims to attract more air and tourist traffic by opening new lines and increasing frequencies at the points it operates on, which contributes to stimulating the tourist movement coming to Egypt.
