Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El Sisi on Monday witnessed the inauguration of Admiral Fouad Abou Zikry Axis (formerly known as El Tameer Axis) which extends for 35 km from its intersection with Cairo-Alexandria road until Sidi Krir-Borg el Arab Airport road with nine lanes in each direction.
Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli and a galaxy of senior state officials welcomed Sisi upon his arrival at the inauguration venue in Alexandria.
The inauguration ceremony started with reciting verses of the holy Quran.
