The Egyptian Finance Minister Mohamed Maeet has urged the formation of a joint committee bringing together the ministry – represented in the Egyptian Tax Authority – and the Bar Association to consider problems and reach solutions that take into account lawyers’ worries about their registration in e-Invoicing.
In a statement Wednesday, the ministry said Maeet met with President of the Bar Association Abdel Halim Allam and voiced his complete understanding of the lawyers’ worries and inquiries regarding registering in the electronic payment and billing system.
Allam stressed the Association is appreciating efforts exerted by the ministry and the authority to digitise all government work.
