The Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry asserted that facing climate change and activating different climate solutions require fostering co-operation among different bodies concerned with intentional climate action, including governments, private sector, NGOs, regional and intentional organisations and developmental partners.
This came during Shoukry’s participation in the activities of the inaugural session of the “Solutions Day”.
Minister of Planning Hala el Saeed, Environment Minister Yasmin Fouad and UN Climate Change High Level Champion for Egypt Mahmoud Mohieldin attended the session.
Shoukry said the day is an important opportunity to exchange points of view and expertise to find new, creative and comprehensive solutions to climate crisis, Spokesman for the Foreign Ministry Ahmed Abu Zeid.
