The Egyptian Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli attended Thursday the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology and Honeywell Egypt company.

The MoU calls for turning the company into a smart institution that is applying eco-friendly IT technologies.

That came on the sidelines of UN Climate Conference COP27, currently in session in the Red Sea resort of Sharm el-Sheikh.

Minister of Communications and Information Technology Amr Talaat was present.

Madbouli said the memorandum comes in implementation of the state’s action plans for attaining sustainable digital institutional development for government institutions and in accordance with President Abdel Fattah El Sisi’s directives in this regard.

For his part, Talaat said the MoU aims to promote joint institutional cooperation between the ministry and Honeywell Egypt.
