Information and Decision Support Centre (IDSC) issued a new publication under the rubric “climate change and food” reviewing several issues related to climate change and its effect on food security, in addition to the concept of sustainability of food systems and international initiatives and experiments.
The IDSC asserted the importance of the publication, especially that it came out during the United Nations Climate Change Conference (UNCCC) COP27, with a view to the important role of climate in the life of people and its clear impact on the various domains.
The IDSC said that the food prices are high all over the world.
It further pointed out to a study conducted by the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) on the impact of climate change on food security and agricultural activities.
