October 6, 1973 is a day that reflected the will and determination of Egyptians that have helped them to defeat challenges and achieve miracles throughout ages, Spokesman for the Foreign Ministry Ahmed Abu Zeid stressed.
Abu Zeid tweeted on Thursday marking the 49th anniversary of the October War Victory that ” There are days of pride eternally carved in the memory of peoples. The 6th October War victory will remain the greatest example of such days.”
“October 6 day reflects the Egyptian determination that conquered and defeated challenges and realised miracles throughout the course of history,” he added.
The spokesman said the Foreign Ministry marks this occasion by extending its greetings to Egypt’s brave army and its supreme commander.
