Cairo governor Khaled Abdel Aal on Thursday met with a delegation from the German Corporation for International Co-operation (GIZ) to look into co-operation in vocational education and training to prepare students for the needs of the labour market.
The meeting focused vocational training in trades that support Egypt’s transition to the green economy.
The meeting also discussed various professions that can be developed in Cairo through establishing special workshops and training centres for them.
There are 23 vocational schools in Cairo Governorate.
