Egypt’s Planning Minister Hala el Saeid said Sunday that a government excellence award that was launched earlier this year is meant to promote competitiveness among civil servants on the one hand and state institutions on the other.
The award aims to encourage employees to upgrade their performance with the aim to achieve goals of the Egypt 2030 vision, the minister said.
Saeid spoke highly of what she called “conscious and distinguished” participation of government institutions, governorates and universities during the third edition of the award in 2022.
The winners should be named soon, the minister made it clear.
