CAIRO- Egypt’s Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli has expressed hope that the coming climate change conference (COP27) would be a chance for receiving more financing to green energy projects and fulfilling the pledges made during the COP26 in Glasgow.
During a meeting with UN deputy secretary general Amina Mohamed in the New Administrative Capital, he said the new capital was designed to be a green and smart city.
He also said the government has taken all measures to render the COP27 a success and already expanded in eco-friendly transportation including electricity and natural gas-operated vehicles.
