CAIRO – The Information and Decision Support Centre (IDSC) published a new infographic Monday reflecting achievements made in the road sector in Egypt.
From 2013 to 2020, the length of roads increased by 112%, while the number of accidents decreased from about 2.2 accidents per 1,000 vehicles in 2013 to 0.8 accidents per 1,000 vehicles in 2021, IDSC said.
The number of bridges and axes on the Nile also increased from 2013 to 2021, it added.
The center pointed out that the new roads serve the development process in the country and improve public services.
