ALAMEIN, Egypt – Egyptian Planning and Economic Development Ministry and e-Finance company signed on Thursday a co-operation protocol as regards the management of technological centers for government services (Khadamat Misr).
Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli attended the signing ceremony at the new headquarters of the cabinet in New El-Alamein City.
After the ceremony, Planning Minister Hala el-Saeed said the protocol comes as part of the State strategy to develop government services offered to citizens in implementation of Egypt Vision 2030 and President Abdel Fattah El Sisi’s directives to set up more Khadamat Misr centers across the country.
Under the protocol, the ministry will receive lands allocated for the establishment of the centers and will supply the centers with furniture and necessary equipment.
The ministry will also pay for linking these centres with the central information system.
E-Finance will be responsible, under the protocol, for running the centres and will supply them with needed technical and administrative cadres.
