CAIRO – The global website “Travel Awaits”, which is concerned with travel and tourism, said that Egypt was among the most preferred destinations for travellers from around the world.
In a report released on Friday, the website ranked Egypt 9th as part of a list that included 17 tourist destinations.
The website pointed out that Egypt possesses many archaeological and tourist sites that distinguish it from any other place in the world, the Tourism and Antiquities Ministry said in a statement Friday.
