JEDDAH – Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi reiterated Saturday Egypt’s keenness on holding close coordination with Kuwait toward the developments in the Middle East.
The Egyptian-Kuwaiti co-operation is a mainstay for achieving regional stability and a major pillar of the priorities and constants of the Egyptian policy, added President Sisi during his meeting with Kuwaiti Crown Prince Sheikh Mishaal al Ahmad al Jaber al Sabah.
During the meeting, President Sisi asked the Kuwaiti crown prince to convey his greetings to Kuwaiti Emir Sheikh Nawaf al Ahmad al Sabah, said Presidential Spokesman Bassam Radi.
President Sisi highlighted the close relations binding the two brotherly countries, and Egypt’s keenness to develop the mutual distinguished cooperation at various levels in an effort to consolidate security, stability and development in the region, added the spokesman.
For his part, the Kuwaiti crown prince emphasized the depth and strength of the historical relations that unite the two countries, lauding the role of the Egyptian community in Kuwait in the construction and development process in the country as a bridge of interdependence between the two brotherly peoples.
He further stressed Kuwait’s keenness to enhance cooperation with Egypt at all levels, and to consult and coordinate with Egypt periodically on various issues, appreciating in this context the Egypt’s pivotal role in the region as a fundamental pillar for the security and stability of the Arab world.
