Egyptian and Pakistani air defence forces launched joint exercise codenamed “Defenders of the Sky 1” Wednesday.
Held in Egypt for the first time, the drill will last for several days, and will include a host of activities covering exchange of training experiences in the field of air defence in the light of the development of air attack weapons, and methods of confronting them, as well as training on securing the airspace and defending vital targets.
The exercise was preceded by good preparation in order to implement the planned training activities and achieve the desired objectives in such a way that would help reach the highest level of professionalism and utmost benefit in order to enable the participating forces to plan and manage operation with high efficiency.
