‘Our Country’s Industry’ exhibit concludes with great success

The first edition of Senaat Baladna (Our Country’s Industry) exhibition, held under auspices of Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli, came to an end on Tuesday after three days of huge turnout and praise of the excellent organisation of the event.

The National Press Authority (NPA) organised the exhibition at Egypt International Exhibition Centre in New Cairo, in co-operation with three state-owned press institutions, Al-Ahram, Akhbar Al-Youm and Dar Al-Tahrir for Printing and Publishing.

Visitors and exhibitors called for repeating this unique event, in light of the success and integration of efforts the first edition has seen.

Over the past three days, the exhibition received large numbers visitors, public figures, statesmen, businessmen, investors and citizens, who all voiced deep admiration of the products quality, and the good organisation and the facilities.

NPA Chairman Abdel-Sadek El-Shorbagy, who also chairs the organising committee, toured the exhibition yesterday. He was accompanied by the Senegalese Ambassador in Cairo Abu Bakr Sarr, Deputy Chairman of the State Council, and Legal Adviser to the NPA Counselor Medhat Lashin, and a host of chief editors of the state-owned newspapers. The tour aimed at having firsthand experience of reaction by visitors and exhibitors, who all lauded the organisation of the event.

El-Shorbagy held a meeting with members of higher and sub committees as well as the working groups, which exerted great efforts for the good preparations of the exhibition.

The NPA chair said the key aspect he felt during his follow-up of the exhibition was that it supported national products, offered a bright image of the national industry, in addition to the great response of the visitors to the main goal of the event, namely backing the national and strategic goals of the state, and not just a promoting fair, that targets making profits.

Moreover, the exhibition shed further light on the miraculous achievements Egypt has made. It also helped highlight the points of distinction of the Egyptian products.
