Hussain Sharif, Chairman of Air Cairo, announced that 3 aircraft, including two A320 and an ATR72, are scheduled to join the Air Cairo fleet during the first week of July, as part of a deal of 16 aircraft that Air Cairo will receive before the end of this year.
He added that by completing the deal, the number of the company’s planes will reach 26 planes, including 12 A320neo planes, 8 A320ceo planes, and 6 ATR72-600 planes, thus becoming Air Cairo’s second largest carrier in Egypt and the largest low-cost carrier in Africa.
