WASHINGTON – The overall global Covid-19 caseload reached 547,497,648 and deaths surged to more than six million cases, according to Johns Hopkins University (JHU) on Friday.
In its latest update, JHU revealed that the current global death toll stood at 6,335,873.
The US continues to be the worst-hit country recording the world’s highest number of cases that exceeded 87.6 million, according to JHU statistics.
