Egyptian Defence Minister Mohamed Zaki attended Sunday a graduation ceremony of new batches of students who completed their studies at the Nasser Higher Military Academy and the Command and Staff College.
The classes were attended by Egyptian military students and civilians.
The ceremony started with a recitation of verses of the holy Quran before a documentary was played about the Nasser Higher Military Academy and the Command Staff College.
The documentary shed light on scientific contributions by the Academy and College and their role in honing skills of generations of army commanders and officers, as well as civilians, in the military, political, economic, social and national security fields.
At the end of the ceremony, Defence Minister Zaki delivered a speech, in which he conveyed President Abdel Fattah El Sisi’s best regards to all the graduates.
The Armed Forces are keen on upgrading the educational system in an integrated way and in coordination with all state institutions, Zaki said, stressing this is done with the aim to prepare qualified cadres in all sectors.
