Egyptian Minister of Water and Irrigation Dr Mohamed Abdel Atti asserted on Wednesday the Mechanical & Electrical Department (MED) is playing an important role in meeting water needs of all sectors by establishing and overhauling irrigation and drainage plants and setting up new stations.
This came during Abdel Atti’s meeting with the ministry’s undersecretary Ragab Abdel Azim and MED Chairman Mohamed Mohamed Abdel Atti on Wednesday.
The meeting discussed the most important action plans and activities of the department.
