CAIRO – Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry received a phone call on Sunday from his Qatari counterpart Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani on the latest developments in Palestine.
The ministers agreed on the need to work on reaching an agreement on a ceasefire between both Palestinian and Israeli sides immediately.
Both ministers also underlined the importance of having continuous coordination at regional and international levels to reach this agreement and achieve the interests of the Palestinian people.
The phone call is part of ongoing coordination made by Egypt with a number of countries to de-escalate military confrontation in the Gaza Strip and all Palestinian territories.
