Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi signed Law No. 28 of 2022 endorsing the final account of the state budget for the fiscal year 2020-21.
As per the law, passed by the House of Representatives, public expenditures for the FY 2020-21 stood at approximately LE1.6 trillion while the state’s revenues hit nearly LE1.1 trillion
The law was published in the gazette on Thursday.
