ABU DHAB – Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi on Saturday offered condolences for the death of UAE President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, according to Presidential Spokesman Bassam Radi.
The UAE President died on Friday at the age of 73.
President Sisi has congratulated Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan after he was named the new President of the UAE on Saturday.
Sisi wished Sheikh Mohammed all success in taking the UAE forward toward further progress and prosperity, following in the footsteps of the late UAE Presidents Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed and Sheikh Zayed Al Nahyan, according to a statement by Presidential Spokesman Bassam Rady.
