Minister of Civil Aviation Mohamed Manar asserted that the political leadership and the government are keen on supporting the aviation and tourism sectors and encouraging investment, noting that the ministry is seeking to grant facilitation to investors to propel the travel and air movement.
The minister’s remarks were made during his meeting on Monday with Minister of Tourism and Antiquities Khaled Anani at the Aviation Ministry premises in the presence of a number of tourism investors with the aim of coordinating stances between the two ministries.
In a statement released by the Aviation Ministry, Manar welcomed Anani and commended the influential co-operation between the two ministries to activate tourism and air movement heading to Egypt’s tourist destinations.
The two ministers listened to a number of proposals and opinions by the tourism investors to increase the number of tourists heading to Egypt’s tourist attractions. They also discussed operating new flights from some European capitals to Luxor city.
The investors, on their part, voiced thanks to the two ministers over their strenuous efforts to coordinate between the two sectors to activate the travel and tourism movement.
