CAIRO – Assistant Minister of Agriculture Mohamed el Qersh asserted that additional quantities of basic commodities were pumped into the cooperatives affiliated to the Ministry of Agriculture to provide citizens with their needs during Eidul Fitr.
In statements to MENA on Sunday, he pointed out that the ministry has 171 outlets all over Egypt.
Qersh said the ministry is exerting great efforts to prepare for vacations season and Eidul Fitr, adding that the commodities will be provided to citizens continuously during Eidul Fitr.
An operations room was formed to follow up harvest and farmers’ wheat supply in cooperation with the Ministry of Supply.
