CAIRO – Secretary General of the Arab Lawyers Union (ALU) Makkawi bin Issa said the cemeteries of numbers and morgues, which are full of bodies of Palestinian martyrs amount to war crimes committed by the Israeli occupation forces.
He reiterated in a statement on Saturday that the perpetrators of such crimes should be brought to urgent international trial.
The latest official figures confirm that there are still 105 bodies of Palestinian martyrs in the morgues of the occupation forces, in addition to 256 bodies in the cemeteries of numbers.
He also called on the international community and human rights organisations to put pressure on the occupation forces to release these bodies unconditionally.
