Thanaweya Amma (high school) final exams for the 2021/2022 school year will be held from June 26 to July 21, Egyptian Minister of Education Tareq Shawqi announced in a press conference on Wednesday.
The exams were initially scheduled for June 11.
Thanaweya Amma exams will be written this year with multiple-choice questions only that will be answered on bubble sheets, Shawqi said.
There will be no essay questions as the ministry wants exam grading to be fully electronic, he added.
The minister noted that students will not be allowed to have books, their tablets, or any sheets during exams.
The subjects with scores not added to the total grades will be held on June 20-21, he said.
