Egyptian State Minister of Military Production Mohamed Ahmed Morsi followed up the implementation of a number of projects via meetings with officials at the national authority for military production and two deputies of board chairmen of military production companies.
Morsi said that these meetings aimed at following up the latest developments in a number of issues and projects in which the military production companies and units are taking part, topped by measures to activate co-operation with the South Korean company of Hanwha in the field of producing the howitzer 155/52 in addition to a plan to operate a number of the production lines of one of the military production companies.
The meetings also discussed the unprecedented visions on any challenges that may face work, he said.
A clear strategic vision was set for every company, unit and sector to cope with its nature and determine the means of work and production in it, he said.
He said that he gave directives to abide by the implementation dates of the projects implemented by the companies of military production.
The Ministry of Military Production is keen on developing the affiliated factories and units to be up to the latest industrialisation technologies in the different domains, he said.
The ministry is always keen on following the implementation of the projects implemented by its companies and units to stand on the level of their abiding by the timeline of these projects, he added.
On the sidelines of the meetings, Morsi pointed out to the major international challenges that resulted from a number of international crises including the coronavirus pandemic and war between Russia and Ukraine and the repercussions of these crises which affected the global economy.
He said that the vision of the political leadership on economic reform, developing the institutions of the state, launching huge projects and encouraging the private sector to carry out investments which have contributed to helping the Egyptian economy face the coronavirus pandemic.
