Egyptian Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli witnessed on Wednesday the inking of an agreement between Egypt and Saudi Arabia with regard to the Saudi Public Investment Fund’s investment in Egypt.
Minister of Planning Hala Saeed signed the agreement on behalf of the Egypt government with Saudi Minister of State for Shura Council Affairs Essam bin Saeed.
The agreement is meant to encourage and support the fund’s investment in Egypt.
This goes within the framework of Egypt’s efforts to lure foreign investments into Egypt, support national workers and localise modern technology in economy.
This will also enhance trade exchange between Egypt and Saudi Arabia, expand activities of both countries as well as their investments at the regional and international levels.
