Abdul-Sadiq el-Shorbagy, Chairman of the National Press Authority (NPA), received on Sunday the Jordanian Ambassador in Cairo and its permanent representative to the Arab League, Amjad Al-Adayleh.
During the meeting, the NPA chairman reviewed the authority’s works and activities, as well as the current challenges facing the paper press worldwide.
The paper press plays a historical role in building awareness historically.
Meanwhile, the press institutions are required to keep pace with the technological developments in press and media which enables them to continue their press missions.
El- Shorbagy and Ambassador Al-Adayleh discussed means of enhancing co-operation between the authority and the press institutions in Jordan, as well as exchanging expertise in dealing with the press challenges.
