CAIRO – The Egyptian Cabinet’s media center asserted the State spares no effort to provide all strategic goods for citizens at low and suitable price in local markets, amid global changes following the Russian-Ukrainian crisis.
The government expanded the establishment of fairs and sale outlets to ensure the provision of various quality foodstuffs for people, particularly ahead of the holy fasting month of Ramadan, added the center.
The State is intensifying efforts to control prices and prevent any manipulation or monopoly attempts in markets, according to it.
It said the State acts to offer support to citizens and take necessary measures to provide safe stockpiles of basic commodities.
The government underlined its capability of riding out the unprecedented crisis globally, given the fact that it will offer sufficient reserves of goods for coming months.
