WASHINGTON – As many as 479,010,356 people have been reported to be infected by the novel coronavirus globally, Johns Hopkins University (JHU) reported on Saturday.
It added that about 6,118,510 have died from the virus worldwide.
The US continues to be the worst-hit country followed by India and Brazil.
