CAIRO – Egypt has strongly condemned the terrorist attack that targeted the surroundings of Mogadishu International Airport, leaving scores of persons killed and injured.
In a statement released by the Foreign Ministry Thursday night, Egypt expressed condolences to the Somali people and government over the victims of the attack, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
Egypt also asserted its full solidarity with Somalia in face of all forms of violence, extremism and terrorism and reiterated its backing for the Somalian government in face of any attempt to destabilize the state’s security and stability.
