CAIRO – Egyptian Minister of Transport Kamel el-Wazir inspected Monday a number of projects and bridges under construction on Cairo/Alex. desert road.
The projects include setting up a three-lane 14 meter-wide bridge on Cairo/Alex desert road for those coming from Alexandria, Borg el-Arab and El Agami, at a total cost of LE80 mn.
The new bridge is to facilitate citizens’ movement and ease traffic flow.
The minister also inspected the expansion of the entrance of Borg el-Arab Bridge to reach a width of 16 meters and includes 4 lanes, along with expanding El Agami entrance, all at a total cost of LE200 mn.
Wazir instructed adhering to high quality standards in implementation of all ventures, along with finalising work as scheduled.
