CAIRO – Egyptian Minister of Public Business Sector Hisham Tawfiq discussed with UAE Ambassador in Cairo Mariam Khalifa al Kaabi ways of boosting economic and investment co-operation between the two countries in several fields, according to a statement by the ministry Monday.
The statement said Tawfiq commended profound, deep-rooted and historic ties binding Egypt and the UAE and highlighted most important vistas of co-operation and investment opportunities for Egyptian and UAE companies.
The minister asserted he is keen on promoting joint partnership between the two countries in the different domains, the statement added.
The Egyptian official talked about various investment projects in the country, it noted.
For her part, Kaabi said her country is very interested in fostering economic cooperation with Egypt and upping the volume of investments and trade exchange rates.
